Unable to connect to wireless router in ubuntu

If you are unable to connect to wireless router,in my case it was d link wireless router, you need to change the driver of ubuntu.

Run the following command :


sudo apt-get purge bcmwl-kernel-source broadcom-sta-common broadcom-sta-source

then,


sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter firmware-b43-installer

then,

reboot your system.
